Our mission

Provide high quality care for our residents, peace of mind for their families and be a great place to work. We achieve this right across the organisation, by:

Putting people first: We create a caring culture where everyone feels included and able to both participate and contribute. We act with compassion and respect in all our interactions and promote a caring and safe environment for all.

Act with integrity: We take individual responsibility in doing what is right at all times to provide a professional service.

Share ways to achieve excellence: We strive for excellence and display innovation in both thinking and service delivery by creating a culture of embracing new ideas, developing solutions and putting them into action.

Our core beliefs

People who experience care should experience respect and compassionate care and support as this promotes dignity and helps the person to feel at ease. To achieve this, we make sure each of our Silverline Care homes is dedicated to delivering the best care possible for you or your loved one.

Our team of skilled nurses, carers and home managers is supported by a senior management team with considerable experience in caring for older people and our dedication to skilled care and nursing is, we believe, unparalleled in the areas and communities in which we operate.

We believe quality care begins with the right people. So, when it comes to choosing our staff, we go to great lengths to make sure team members not only have the correct training and qualifications but that they are also driven by a deep desire to help others. Our staff go above and beyond to get to know the individual needs of each resident. This is done through continued consultation with residents, their families and all stakeholders to ensure care plans are as individual as the person receiving them.

We believe innovation is crucial in providing positive care. We empower our staff and equip them with the latest technology, enabling them to create electronic care plans for each resident to provide truly person-centred care, with the most minimal amount of administration.

As a result, they derive pleasure from the knowledge that our residents are contented and well taken care of… and that you are enjoying some genuine peace of mind that we are doing our job, quietly, happily and with compassion, when you are not there.

Overall, when you choose a Silverline Care home you can be reassured of our excellence and passion to care.

What people say about us

“I have found the staff and management to be very caring, friendly, helpful, and understanding, also through COVID which has been a challenging time for everyone, all staff and management have handled the situation extremely well”

~ Geoffery W. (son of resident)

“It’s now coming up to 3-years, and as a family, we continue to be very happy with the care provided. It was a difficult time over the Covid lockdowns as we were not able to visit Mum for over a year. The staff did everything possible to keep us connected, including facilitating video calls. It’s lovely now for me and my brother to be able to see her again on a regular basis.“

~ Teresa J. (daughter of resident)

“My brother moved into the home in May 2019. It was a difficult decision for myself and my family to make. At that time, he was an alcoholic and could not look after himself in any capacity. The carers and team took over his care with compassion and gave him an extra four years, which we never expected. He was given the care and support he required. “

~ Lynda Q (sister of Resident)

“It’s a very friendly and welcoming care home. The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The home is modern, very clean, fresh and full of light and freshly redecorated. My mother (93) has settled in quite easily and feels at home.”

~ Philip S. (son of Resident)

Meet the manager,
Comfort Chibuye

I am a nurse by profession, I qualified as a nurse and midwife 30 years ago. I have a lot of experience working with the elderly in care homes as a nurse, home manager and in the Regional team and care is my passion.

I believe I have all values of the 6 Cs that underpin the culture and practice in social care. The values and mission of Silverline Care are very much at the core of my practice. Putting people first is my priority.
